For thirty-five years, the Northeast Trading Company has helped customers sell, and occasionally acquire, a wide range of collectibles.  The company is based in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley transacting business mainly in New York (from New York City to Buffalo), New England and southward into New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.  However, in this Internet age, we communicate increasingly with sellers nationwide and beyond.  For example, we recently consulted stamp experts in Iceland on the sale of a very fine Iceland stamp collection.
We do not maintain a retail store.  We often purchase items, collections or estates outright and then sell them wholesale or via auction.  We frequently work as a seller's agent brokering sales with wholesale buyers, major auction houses, and nonprofit institutions.  In this case, we work on commission.
For thirty-five years, we have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles in the north-eastern and mid-Atlantic U.S., free-of-charge,
to evaluate collectibles.  Our areas of expertise and interest are as follows, although this is not an all-inclusive list.  Please contact us for any item you feel may be worthwhile discussing.
